List of SSBU Music (Pac-Man series)
This is a list of music tracks pertaining to the Pac-Man universe in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Due to how music is categorized in Ultimate, the list also includes music from other arcade Namco franchises (barring Tekken, which has its own character, stage, and music selection). All of the tracks listed here are available to play on Pac-Land and, as of the 8.1.0 update, Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination.

Origin[edit]
This piece is a ragtime-styled remix of the "Start Music" and "Coffee Break Music" themes from Pac-Man, arranged with the 4-bit wavetable sound generator (WSG) used in Namco arcade games such as Mappy, Libble Rabble, and The Tower of Druaga. The song starts with the "Credit Sound" jingle, and throughout the song the sound effect of the Ghosts moving is added, increasing its pitch later on, indicating an increase in their movement speed. As the original songs are very short jingles, the overall melody is highly extrapolated and improvised, at times only barely resembling its inspiration. Unlike most music in Smash, the song closes with a proper ending and starts over from the beginning, rather than looping indefinitely.

Origin[edit]
This is a synth rock remix of the music that plays in the first and second worlds of Pac-Mania, Block Town and Pac-Man's Park. The tune itself is an extended remix of the "Coffee Break Music" from the original Pac-Man arcade game. The song starts off with the theme for Pac-Man's Park then segues into the theme for Block Town. It ends with the death sound effect from Pac-Man (specifically, the Pac-Mania variant of the tune) before starting over.

Other uses[edit]
This track was used in Pac-Man's character trailer on the official website and his Classic Mode credits.
Trivia[edit]
- On the official iTunes release of the Pac-Mania soundtrack, these themes are titled "Pac-Man's Park" and "Block Town" in English, and "PACMAN'S PARK" and "BLOCK TOWN" in Japanese. Here, the difference has been split; the titles are capitalized like the Japanese release, but "PAC-MAN" is hyphenated like the English release.

Track title | Mappy Medley |
Universe | Mappy |
Debut game | Mappy |
Arrangement debut | Super Smash Bros. Ultimate |
Availability | Default |

Origin[edit]
This song is a medley of various tracks, jingles, and sound effects from Mappy. The song contains "Credit Sound", "Opening Animation Music", "In-Game Music (Main Theme)", "Round Clear Music", "Bonus Round Fanfare", "Bonus Round Music", "Big Balloon: Get (Bonus Round Clear)", "Result Music", and "Extend Music". The overall style of the song is a blend of chiptune and acoustic elements, also incorporating electric guitars at times (particularly during the "Result Music" segment). In the original Mappy, the entire soundtrack is in microtone, but later ports and arrangements often transpose the soundtrack into standard tonality. Every song used in the medley is raised by a quarter tone compared to the original arcade version, bringing it into standard tonality — except for the "Credit Sound" and "Bonus Round Fanfare" jingles, which are sampled directly from the arcade game and thus kept in microtone.

Trivia[edit]
- On August 7th, 2018, the YouTube preview of Galaga Medley was mistakenly named Bloody Tears / Monster Dance, inadvertently leaking the inclusion of Castlevania content. This was quickly fixed and Simon and Richter were officially announced the next day in a Nintendo Direct.
- While the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate website treats this song as miscellaneous music, the actual game treats it as PAC-MAN music.
- In said Direct, there were 13 songs listed under the Pac-Man series, but there are only 11 in the final version of the game.
- Relatedly, two Namco tracks from Smash 4 do not appear in Ultimate:
- Aside from the songs listed here, two other Namco-related tracks play in Mii Fighter costume reveals, but not in-game:
- "Symphonic Druaga", a medley arrangement of music from The Tower of Druaga originally from Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do-Don to Nidaime!, plays in the Gil costume reveal.
- "Like a glint of light" from Tales of Symphonia plays in the Lloyd Irving costume reveal.
